In short: KeepDeck analyzes your photos and videos on your device to build cleanup “decks”. We do not upload or store your media on our servers.
1) What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how KeepDeck (“the App”) handles information when you use it.
2) Media (photos & videos)
KeepDeck needs permission to access your photo library to:
- Scan your library and build decks (e.g., Large Videos, Screenshots, Screen Recordings, Bursts, Live Photos, Old Media, Monthly View, etc.)
- Show previews of items for you to review
- Perform actions you request (e.g., move to review, delete after confirmation)
Your media stays on your device. KeepDeck does not upload, host, or store your photos/videos on our servers.
3) Information we may collect
A) Purchase & subscription information
If you purchase KeepDeck Pro, payments are processed by Apple (App Store).
- We do not receive your full payment card details.
- We may receive subscription status (e.g., active/expired) and related identifiers needed to validate access.
B) Advertising information (if ads are shown)
If you are not subscribed and ads are enabled, the App may use Google AdMob/AppOpenAd. Advertising SDKs may collect device information such as device identifiers and IP address for purposes like ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
C) Usage/diagnostics (optional)
If enabled, we may collect limited diagnostics or anonymous usage events (e.g., crash reports, feature usage) to improve stability and performance.
4) How we use information
- To provide the App’s core functionality (creating decks, allowing review and deletion)
- To verify Pro subscription access and show the correct features
- To show ads (for non-subscribers) and measure ad performance (where applicable)
- To maintain and improve the App (bug fixes, performance, reliability)
5) Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the App:
- Apple (billing, subscriptions)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Google AdMob (ads, if enabled)
Each provider’s processing is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
6) Data retention
Because your media stays on your device, we do not retain your photos/videos on our servers. Subscription/entitlement-related records may be retained as needed for accounting, compliance, and support purposes.
7) Your choices
- Permissions: You can change photo access permissions in iOS Settings.
- Ads/consent: Where applicable, you can manage consent prompts and ad personalization settings based on your region.
- Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
8) Children’s privacy
KeepDeck is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9) International users
If you use the App outside your country, service providers (e.g., Apple, RevenueCat, Google) may process information on servers located in other countries.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when it was last updated.
